Jane Cardwell founded Jane Cardwell Tutoring, Inc. in 1986. She has over 30 years of teaching experience, and a wealth of education that includes a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Deaf Education Certification from the University of Texas, as well as Montessori Certification.

Jane Cardwell and her staff are certified proctors for the Division of Outreach & Distance Education at Texas Tech University, a homeschooling program in Lubbock, Texas. She has received extensive dyslexia training in the Lindamood-Bell method and the Phono-Graphix method. Jane completed her training at the Neuhaus Center in Houston in the Language Program which included Scientific Spelling, Multisensory Reading and Spelling, and Alphabet Phonics.
